UP Ghaziabad: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered relief and rescue operations.

On January 3 in Muradnagar area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a very serious accident took place in a crematorium ghat. A crowd of people gathered for the last rites at the crematorium and suddenly the roof fell there. According to officials, so far 17 people have died in the accident and 38 people have been rescued. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given orders to carry out relief and rescue work and also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

A team of NDRF has also reached the spot, which is doing relief and rescue work for the people at the scene. It has been told that after the accident many people are buried under the roof falling on the incident site, which are being resuscitated.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the accident in Ghaziabad. At the same time, it has announced to give two lakh rupees to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, “I have instructed the district officials to carry out relief and rescue work. It has also said that to file an inquiry report in this case. All possible help will be given to the people affected in this accident.”
Divisional commissioner of Meerut, Anita Meshram told about 4 pm in a conversation with news agency ANI that so far 17 people have died in the accident and 38 people have been rescued.
Anita Meshram, Divisional Commissioner said, “Investigation has started in the case, strict action will be taken against those found guilty.”
Eyewitness Devendra Kumar told that he was being cremated after his Baba’s death. The body was being worshiped there and people were present. Suddenly there was a sound of something falling. People ran away, many people got buried in it.
