Not contesting election not my decision
Ever since the resignation of Gupteshwar Pandey, there were speculations that he would join the JDU. A few days after his resignation, he met Nitish Kumar and announced to join the party. After this, it was believed that Nitish Kumar would give tickets to Gupteshwar Pandey. It was being said that he could be fielded from any seat of Buxar district. But this did not happen. After joining JDU, Gupteshwar Pandey said.
“I got impressed with him and joined the party under his leadership. As will be the order. It is not my decision to contest the election or not, I will do as the party orders.
It is now clear that he will see work related to the party in Bihar assembly elections, he will not contest elections.
