SP Dehat Sagar Jain told that Bhopal, a resident of village Sarkadi Sheikh located in Kotwali Dehat of Saharanpur, had given a complaint to the police. It was told that her 32 year old daughter Ashu was murdered by her husband Amit Kumar along with his girlfriend. SP Dehat said that on the basis of the complaint, action was taken in this regard on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Vipin Tada. The accused husband and his girlfriend were arrested. SP Dehat said that the Sarsawa police station arrested the accused Amit Kumar from Sheikhpura road in front of Gadarhedi. His girlfriend was arrested from her house in Chilkana police station.
Gave sleeping pills in the name of medicine
According to SP Dehat Sagar Jain, during interrogation, accused Amit told that he had an illicit relationship with a girl resident of Chilkana police station area for three years. My girlfriend and I wanted to get married. My wife Ashu was against it. So I along with my girlfriend made a plan to murder him. The accused told the police that on the night of 27th December, when his wife Ashu fell ill, he called the village doctor and got her blood pressure checked. After this he went to the doctor to get medicine. After changing the doctor’s medicine, he gave sleeping pills to his wife Ashu as prescribed by his girlfriend. When she became unconscious, I strangled Ashu to death with my muffler.
Post mortem report revealed
According to SP Dehat, the accused husband told his wife’s family that Ashu’s health had worsened. Ashu’s blood pressure has gone down, so they are taking Ashu to Saharanpur hospital. After bringing him to the city, he got his wife checked by the doctor. After examination, the doctor told that Ashu was dead.
When the relatives of the deceased became suspicious, they informed the police. The police reached the spot at midnight and took possession of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. When the post mortem report confirmed that the married woman was murdered by strangulation, her father filed a case. Both the accused are being arrested and sent to jail.
