Less than 2 lakh new cases of corona infection have been registered in the country for the fourth consecutive day. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 1,52,734 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours, while 3,128 more patients died.
This is the lowest number of new cases filed since 9 April this year, when 1,45,384 cases were reported in India, while 1,52,879 new cases were reported in India on 10 April.
After 3,128 new deaths, a total of 3,29,100 Covid patients have died so far.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in India is now 2,80,47,534, of which 20,26,092 are active cases.
2,38,022 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of discharges has increased to 2,56,92,342.

On May 28,1,86,364 new Corona cases were registered in the country, the next day it was 1,73,790 on May 29 and 1,65,553 on May 30.
After battling the second wave for weeks, the fresh Covid cases came below the three lakh mark for the first time on 17 May. This came after touching a record high of 4,14,188 on 7 May.
Most metro cities are still struggling with more infections, although Mumbai and Delhi have stopped this boom. Delhi recorded 946 new cases on Sunday, 1,066 in Mumbai, Bengaluru with 4,734 new cases, followed by 2,689 in Chennai and 1,830 in Kolkata.
COVID-19: In last 20 days, more than 75,000 deaths in India
The deaths of corona patients have also been less than 4,000 for four consecutive days. However, in the last 20 days, there have been more than 75,000 deaths in India.
On 24 May, India crossed the 3 lakh mark in deaths due to Coronavirus infection and thus became the third country in the world to cross three lakh deaths after the US and Brazil.
India recorded record fatalities due to Covid with 4,529 deaths on 21 May. These were the highest number of deaths a day due to Covid infection in any country since the outbreak of Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China in December 2019.
Corona Vaccination and Testing Hall
The Health Ministry said that a total of 21,31,54,129 doses of Corona vaccine have been given to people in the country so far, of which 10,18,076 doses have been given in the last 24 hours.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Reserves (ICMR), 34,48,66,883 samples have been tested for Covid-19 till May 30. Of these, 16,83,135 samples were examined on Sunday 30 May.
