Chandrayaan-3 Sleep mode: Night is about to fall on the moon…before this Vikram and Pragyan were put to sleep. A big update (ISRO Big Update) has come regarding Chandrayaan-3. ISRO has put Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover to sleep for 14 to 15 days. By sharing a post on social media platform X, ISRO has said that the rover has completed its work. Now it has been parked at a safe place and set in sleep mode. The APXS and LIBS payloads are currently turned off. It is with the help of these payloads that data is sent to Earth through the lander. ISRO also said that the rover has been placed in such a direction that when the next sunrise occurs on the moon on September 22, 2023, sunlight falls on the solar panels. Its receiver has also been kept operational. It is expected that it will start working again on September 22. Let us tell you that earlier ISRO had told that the rover has covered a distance of 100 meters from the Shivshakti landing point. The graph of the distance between the lander and the rover was also shared. Please tell that Vikram Lander landed on the moon on 23 August. The rover took 10 days to cover this distance.
