Let us tell you that in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections held last month in the year 2023, the Bharatiya Janata Party has returned to power with an overwhelming majority of 163 seats. At the same time, Congress was limited to only 66 seats. Gopal Bhargava is the senior-most MLA in the 230-member assembly. He has become MLA for the ninth consecutive time.
What did Gopal Bhargava say?
Addressing the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Rahali, he said – “A nine-time MLA is equal to a Chief Minister. People ask me what will happen now, you have lost your ministerial post, then I told them that if I say this much, I will say Gopal Bhargava. As far as I am concerned, no one from the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh to the Collector can deny my words or deny my work.”
