The Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke about the strong rumors that involve him in the technical direction of Brazil and insisted that they are just that, rumors.
In an interview with Radio Anch’io Sport, the Real Madrid strategist asserted that the information linking him to the “Canarinha” ison “rumors, everything is rumors. Right now I am very happy at Real Madrid.”
A few months ago the Brazilian media Globo stated that “The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) considers the hiring of coach Carlo Ancelotti to be done” and that he would begin training the Cariocas between “January or June” of next year.
Although the five-time World Cup champion team wants him, Carlettó has nothing signed. “I will be here as long as they let me,” Ancelotti said long ago about his time at Real Madrid.
Last June, at the presentation of the friendly match between Spain and Brazil that will be played in March 2024, the president of the CBF Ednaldo Rodrigues praised Ancelotti, ensuring that “he is the ideal person” for the position of national coach of Brazil.
“He is a great group manager. The athletes who trained with him say that he is the best coach of their career and he makes the new ones grow and would like to have a coach like Ancelotti. I understand that he is one of the best coaches in the world and would fit in with Brazil, which is one of the best teams in the world,” Rodrigues said on that occasion.
