The Emergency Coordination Center has updated the information on the fire that occurred this morning in a nightclub in the Atalayas area of Murcia and has raised the number of fatalities in the fire to 13, although more victims are not ruled out.
At 6:00 a.m., several calls began to arrive at the ‘1-1-2’ Emergency Coordination Center reporting a fire in a nightclub in the Atalayas area in Murcia.
Several fire crews from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Service (SEIS) of the Murcia City Council have moved to the scene trying to put out the fire. The firefighters have requested the intervention of the helicopter from the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies.
