On the morning of January 14, defender Ho Tan Tai had surgery for a right knee ligament injury at Van Hanh Hospital (HCMC). The surgery lasted about 1 hour and was successful, performed by an experienced team such as doctor Pham Quoc Hung, Associate Professor. Dr. Le Duc Lanh. Among them, doctor Pham Quoc Hung is experienced and has performed surgery on many Vietnamese players such as Do Hung Dung, Chau Doan Phat, and Nguyen Minh Tri (Vietnam futsal team).
Ho Tan Tai has a strong constitution
Doctor Pham Quoc Hung shared with the Newspaper Adolescent: “Tai’s ligament was completely torn, tearing the outer meniscus. Fortunately, his posterior outer corner was not affected. That is the most complicated part to handle, easily causing players to lose their knees and get hurt. The medial meniscus as well as other parts are still fine. Another thing is that Tai’s body is also strong so he will recover quickly. I think in about 6 months Tai can practice football again, and in 9 months he can return to the field to play.”
After surgery, Tan Tai will stay in the hospital for 4 days of observation. After that, he will go to recovery training at the RTD Rehab Injury Recovery Center of Vietnam team doctor Tran Huy Tho.
