UP Hathras satsang stamped: 27 people have reportedly died in a stampede during a religious gathering in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. A large number of women and children have also been injured in this accident. Taking cognizance of the incident, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has directed the district administration to immediately take the injured to the hospital for treatment and expedite the relief work on the spot. He has ordered an investigation into the causes of the incident under the leadership of ADG Agra and Commissioner Aligarh.
CM Yogi expressed regret
In a post made by the CM’s office on the social media platform X, it has been said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased in the accident in Hathras district. He has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
