Free Aadhaar Update: The Unique Identification Authority of India UIDAI has once again extended the last date for updating Aadhaar. Now Aadhaar holders can upload documents to update their address and identity for free till 14 September 2024. This decision of UIDAI will benefit millions of Aadhaar card holders. This free service for updating both identity and address data is available only on the myAadhaar portal. UIDAI is encouraging people to keep the documents updated in their Aadhaar.

Free facility will be available on this portal
The facility to update Aadhaar card details such as address and identity for free will continue to be available through the myAadhaar portal till 14 September 2024. To avail this facility, you can visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. This decision to extend the deadline for updating Aadhaar details for free is part of the government’s effort to improve administrative processes.

How to update Aadhaar

Click on ‘send OTP’ and enter the OTP received on your linked number.

After this select Update Demographics Data.
