Tibet has always been considered a sacred and mysterious land. This place is famous for its vast green grasslands, high mountains covered with ice and snow, and its rustic, simple but very hospitable people.
Like many travel enthusiasts, designers Vu Ngoc Tu and Dinh Truong Tung also dream of visiting Tibet once in their lives. The experience of seeing the majestic natural landscape of this land with their own eyes left an unforgettable impression on the Vietnamese design duo.

Lhasa – the “heart” of Tibet
Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, was built in 637 and is located on Mabuge Hill. It welcomes visitors with a quiet, meditative atmosphere. The first impression of Lhasa is the “coloured windows” full of flowers and sunshine.
No one sees the color of the sun, but one can feel it when other colors become brighter in the sun. The yellow and reddish brown walls of the monasteries shine brightly under the deep blue sky.

Two designers experience wearing Tibetan costumes, sightseeing and exploring local culture
It is not difficult to see colorful flags or believers returning to the sacred land. When walking around the center of Lhasa, you can see young people cosplaying in local costumes to take pictures in the middle of the ancient town.
Potala Palace
The Potala Palace is the tallest palace in the world, located in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. This palace is considered a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism.

Located on top of the Red Hill overlooking the Lhasa valley, the 170 m high Potala Palace is considered the most massive and magnificent of all palace structures in Tibet. The palace is located at an altitude of 3,600 m above sea level
Gambala Pass
Gambala with an altitude of up to 5,000 m above sea level. This is the most beautiful view point of Yamdrok Lake, from here you can see the winding roads at the foot of the pass, leading to the sacred Yamdrok Lake with wonderful views.

Snow-capped mountains interspersed with vast green grasslands, like a vague and charming world. Wandering the roads in the Tibetan plateau, visitors can easily encounter and be attracted by the colorful flags flying across the deep blue sky. Tibetans call them Lungta prayer flags – a spiritual cultural feature of the people here.

Wearing Tibetan costumes and taking beautiful pictures with colorful Lungta flags in the Gambala Pass area is an unforgettable experience for tourists.

Yamdrok Lake
More than 100 km from Lahsa and about 2.5 hours by car, Yamdrok Lake is a great destination for those who love Tibetan nature. Located at an altitude of 4,441 m, Yamdrok is considered one of the four most sacred lakes in Tibet.

The two designers took souvenir photos with fashionista Chau Le Thu Hang and friends
“To experience such a high altitude, we have prepared our health by exercising and taking medicine as prescribed by the doctor to avoid altitude sickness when going through this route. However, sometimes we have to use portable oxygen to ensure our health,” said designer Vu Ngoc Tu.
“I think with such a special climate and altitude when going to Tibet, we should go with relatives and friends to get support when needed (difficulty breathing, lack of oxygen or body fatigue due to the effects of altitude), designer Dinh Truong Tung said.

Karola Glacier
The eternal Karola glacier is located at an altitude of 5,560 m above sea level with an area of 9.4 km². Tourists can see Karola from the highway connecting Lhasa and Shigatse. This is one of the three main glaciers of mysterious Tibet.

Spectacular views at the Karola glacier area
Karola Glacier is only about 300 meters from the highway. Although not a large glacier, it is still a spectacular sight that amazes first-time visitors to Tibet. With its soft curves, the ice block that has existed for millions of years attracts with its pure white color stretching from the mountain top to the valley. Just a few rays of sunlight passing through, the entire glacier shines with a crystal color that will make you forget the sub-zero cold.
Shigatse City
Included in the list of places you should visit during your Tibet tour, Shigatse city is located at the confluence of the Yarlong Tsangpo and Nyangchu rivers and is also known as the highest city in the world.

This place has extremely wonderful natural scenery. When visiting Shigatse, visitors can explore many extremely unique architectural works. The two designers took time to visit Tashilhunp Monastery – one of Tibet’s most important monastic establishments and the seat of the Panchen Lama, the second highest spiritual authority in Western Buddhism. Tibet. Entering Tashilhunpo Monastery is like entering a sacred realm of ancient wisdom with many beautiful scenes of peace and serenity.

The two designers feel lucky to have set foot in Tibet. This land brings many emotions and meanings, and at the same time, it also suggests new emotions in life.

Sharing about the experiences of the trip, the two Vietnamese designers shared: “Tibet is a place we dream of visiting once. There are so many emotions when setting foot in this sacred and strange land. “Life seems to slow down in every step, every breath and every feeling so that we can think about a gentle and peaceful life.”
