Daniel ArenasCurrently, he is one of the star hosts of Telemundo’s morning show, “Hoy Día”, His career as a soap opera heartthrob underwent a strong change after this decision, because his time as a heartthrob seems to be behind him.
The public will remember him for having been part of ambitious projects on the Televisa network such as: “Teresa”, “Corazón Indomable”, “La Gata”, “Mi Familia has Husband”, “Médicos, line of life” and “Despertar Contigo” “, among other. He worked with great actresses, among which the names of Angelique Boyer, Maite Perroni, Ana Brenda Contreras, Zuria Vega, Livia Brito and Ele Velden.
He voluntarily separated himself from the leading man image of this type of productions, where he enjoyed great success. However, in 2024 he is very clear that he does not intend, at least for the moment, to resume this aspect of his profession, since his role as a driver satisfies him.
Regarding his plans for 2024, he was very emphatic, in conversation with Mezcal TV, when he assured that his priority is hosting Telemundo’s morning show: “Right now, as number one, the program, continue here on “Hoy Día.” I don’t completely rule it out but if I did it again it would be with a different approach, “I don’t want to do the same thing I’ve been doing, I think there are stages for everything in life.”
On the other hand, the Colombian assures that if he were to return to acting, he wants to do so by giving life to other types of characters. He wants to be part of productions that he has not done in the past. In this conversation he told her: “I would like to do projects where I wasn’t the leading man, where it wasn’t the typical love story. If I act again it has to be something that I have not done before, that has another purpose, that has another goal; That’s the word, another end.”
Daniel Arenas wants to change
The year 2024 seems to have generated in the Colombian actor the need to abandon many aspects of his past. Habits or certain emotional aspects that seem to have marked him due to the type of upbringing or experiences he lived as a child.
For this reason Arenas assures that his New Year’s resolution, basically, is to leave behind these types of aspects of his life or personality with which he no longer feels comfortable. Daniel assures that he wants to get rid of what is bad. “We all bring a suitcase behind us, ugh!, very heavy, things that through no fault of our own we bring from our childhood, our adolescence, our upbringing.”
He also added: “I think that one of my main projects is to let go of that which sometimes takes away our peace, that which sometimes does not allow us to truly be who we are in essence and blinds us to the valuable things in life.”
