Samsung has announced the launch in Italy of Jet Bot Combo AI, a robot vacuum cleaner and floor cleaner equipped with advanced features based on artificial intelligence. Among its main features stand out object recognition and the Clean Station Steam+, which allow optimal cleaning automatically. With this model, the company introduces a complete cleaning system that not only vacuums, but washes the floors and provides autonomous cleaning of its components: the robot uses a multi-cyclonic system for suction and humidified cloths for washing the floors, applying downward pressure and a rotating motion to maximize cleaning effectiveness. At the end of the session, the device automatically returns to the Clean Station Steam+, which empties the dirt tank and supplies the robot with clean water for subsequent washes. Furthermore, the station manages the washing and sterilization of clothes, thanks to a steam cycle that eliminates 99.99% of bacteria, followed by hot air drying.
Jet Bot Combo AI is powered by a lithium-ion battery that offers a runtime of up to 180 minutes, enough to cover large spaces. The noise level stands at 87 dBA, while the suction power reaches 6,000 Pa, ensuring effective results even on challenging surfaces. At the heart of Jet Bot Combo AI is the integration of Samsung’s latest artificial intelligence technologies. The robot is able to create detailed maps of the environments thanks to the multi mapping system and anti-fall sensors, while the AI Floor Detect detects the type of floor, regulating the power and movement of the brushes based on the material, such as wood or marble.
The robot also includes the Carpet Care function, which distinguishes between long and short pile carpets: in the first case, the robot returns to the base to remove the mop cloths and resume cleaning the carpet without contamination; in the second case, the clothes are simply lifted to avoid wetting the carpet. The Jet Bot Combo AI’s smart features can be managed via the SmartThings app, which allows you to set exclusion areas and monitor cleaning remotely. Thanks to the integrated camera and object recognition, the robot detects obstacles such as cables or small objects, also protecting pets with notifications in case of prolonged movement or lack of activity.
