Konami recently revealed, through an official note, the new set for the Trading Card Game Yu-Gi-Oh!: Supreme Darkness. This expansion introduces a myriad of new cards, strategies and archetypes, offering duelists an even more engaging gaming experience. The set introduces new cards for several strategies, including Evil HERO, Speedroid, Crystron, and a brand new World Premiere theme. High King Jaden’s Evil HERO monsters return with evil versions of Elemental HERO Bubbleman and Elemental HERO Prism, as well as a new version of High King’s Neos, capable of taking control of his opponent’s monsters. New support cards will make summoning Evil HERO Fusion Monsters easier, with even more options.
For lovers of faster strategies, the Velociroid cards are back, ready to make Synchro Summoning even simpler and more immediate. Two new Velociroid Pendulum/Tuner monsters debut in this set, along with new Synchro Monsters inspired by Yugo’s favorites, including the largest Light Wing Synchro Dragon yet.
A new theme makes its debut in Ultimate Darkness. This Deck places Continuous Trap monsters directly in the Duelist’s Spell & Trap Zone. As Continuous Traps discovered, they provide constant buffs to all Warrior monsters. But when needed, these Trap Cards can come to life as Warrior monsters and then return to the safety of the Spell & Trap Zone when things get too busy, ready to resurface at the right time.
Ultimate Darkness includes 101 cards, with a brand new World Premiere theme. Finally, the set continues its 25th anniversary celebrations with 25 Quarter-Century Secret Rares, including a special card.
