What kind of competition between Unadkat and Shardul?
Jaydev Unadkat is a left-arm bowler and that’s one point that goes with him. After 2013 in ODIs, he got a chance to play against the West Indies. He got one wicket in that match. On this West Indies tour, he did not get a single wicket in two Tests. So far he has 9 wickets in 8 ODIs. In 4 Tests, only 3 batsmen have been dismissed. Unadkat has taken 169 victims in 117 matches.
Shardul Thakur, on the other hand, has been a key player in India’s ODI side over the years. He definitely proves to be expensive but is a wicket-taker. Whenever the captain has to break a partnership or is looking for a wicket, he throws the ball towards Shardul. He also gets down standing on trust. For this reason, the fans have named him Lord Shardul. Shardul has 58 wickets in his ODI career of 38 matches. Has scored 315 runs with the help of a half-century in batting. In List A, Shardul has 160 wickets in 100 matches.
Most ODI wickets for India after 2019 World Cup

Kuldeep Yadav – 48 wickets
Mohammad Siraj – 43 wickets
Yuzvendra Chahal – 37 wickets
Mohammed Shami – 35 wickets
The team has to be announced by September 5.
According to the rules of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the initial team of 15 members has to be handed over by September 5 while the final team can be handed over by September 27. Meanwhile, as many changes as possible can be made in both the teams. In such a situation, it will not be surprising if India selects 16 to 18 players for the Asia Cup and the home series against Australia.
Unadkat and Shardul are set to get a chance in the Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka and the three-match home series against Australia. India will begin their campaign in the World Cup against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Two months before this, the team combination does not seem to be fixed. The situation is not clear yet regarding the additional fast bowler and third spinner in the team.
who will be the third spinner

The probable core group of India is as follows: Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Akshar Patel , Sanju Samson, Shardul Thakur, Jaydev Unadkat, Mukesh Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal.
