Yashpal Arya left BJP
Yashpal Arya along with his son and Nainital MLA Sanjeev Arya joined the Congress on Monday. Yashpal Arya is a 6-time MLA from Bajpur, which comes under Udham Singh Nagar. He is also an influential Dalit leader of the Terai region. He was the Transport Minister in the Pushkar Singh Dhami government. According to sources, Yashpal Arya was not happy with Dhami being made the CM. Attempts were made to persuade him from the BJP side.
