Akshay’s latest film Sarfira, which has won the hearts of the audience with his acting, seems to be adding to this list. The film Sarfira, which released in theaters on Friday, July 12, could only earn 12 crores in the country in its first weekend. The film also flopped badly in the Monday test. The film could not even touch the figure of 2 crores on its first Monday. In such a situation, let alone becoming a hit, it seems difficult for the film to avoid the tag of a flop.

This has been the trend of earning since its release

The film Sarfira has been going through many ups and downs since its release in theatres. On the opening day, Akshay’s film earned only 2.5 crores within the country. On the second day, there was a jump in the film’s earnings but the collection figure remained less than 5 crores. On the third day, Sarfira earned 5.25 crores.

The film, which released in theatres on Friday, saw an increase in its collections due to Saturday and Sunday holidays, but its performance on Monday was worse than its opening day collection. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film Sirfira’s collections may remain less than 1 crore on the fifth day after its release.

Akshay Kumar’s film Sarfira is going to be his ninth flop film in 3 years. So far the film has not been able to touch the figure of Rs 15 crore on the opening day. The film Suryavanshi, which came in November 2021, was the last hit. Since then, 7 consecutive films have flopped. OMG 2, released in August 2023, definitely raised hopes but his next two films – Mission Raniganj and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan again disappointed. Now Sarfira also seems to be joining this list.
