The Sunset fire (Vietnamese name is “sunset”) started at 5:45 p.m. on January 8 (local time) and spread to the Studio City film set, causing the Walk of Fame to be busy with firefighting activities. Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the fire before it got out of control.
As of yesterday, at least 5 people were killed and more than 130,000 people had to be evacuated as fires quickly devastated California’s residential areas along the Pacific coast to Pasadena county. Nearly 2,000 homes, businesses and other structures burned in the Eaton and Palisades fires. At least 6 schools were damaged or destroyed, and many mansions of the elite and Hollywood stars also suffered the same fate.
