V-League’s Tet holiday is very short
Vietnam’s professional football cycle paused after January 24. After round 11 of the V-League and round 7 of the 2024-2025 first division season, the players can rest and return to enjoy the new spring with their families and relatives.
On February 5, V-League returns with an early match of round 13, when Nam Dinh Club welcomes Hanoi team at Thien Truong home field. On February 8, the matches in round 12 of the V-League will officially take place, the earliest being the confrontation between Binh Dinh and Da Nang Club, taking place at 6:00 p.m. at Quy Nhon Stadium. At 7:15 p.m. on the same day, Hai Phong Club faced Ho Chi Minh City team at Lach Tray, Viettel The Cong Club welcomed HAGL at My Dinh.
On February 9, there are two matches: Quang Nam Club – Binh Duong (5:00 p.m., Tam Ky Stadium), and Hanoi Club – SLNA (7:15 p.m., Hang Day Stadium). The latest match in round 12 is the competition between Ha Tinh Club, the only undefeated team in the V-League, and Hanoi Police team, taking place at 5:00 p.m. at Ha Tinh Stadium.
The first division is also attractive
The first division also returns on February 8. The first two matches of round 8 will take place at the same time at 4:00 p.m. Dong Nai Club – PVF-CAND and Ba Ria Vung Tau Club – Hoa Binh. At 4:00 p.m. on February 9, Long An Club welcomed Cong Phuong’s Binh Phuoc Club at home. At 5:00 p.m., on the field on August 19, Khanh Hoa Club faced the Ho Chi Minh City Youth team. The latest match of the round, also the highlight match, is the confrontation between the two teams in the top 4: Ninh Binh Club faces Dong Thap team at 6:00 p.m. at Ninh Binh Stadium.
Normally, the players return about 3-5 days before the official match, depending on the club.
