Journalist Paola de Orte has gained significant prominence in covering the conflict between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas. In recent days, Globo has taken advantage of the material produced by Paola to report on the conflict in Jornal Nacional and other news programs on the network.
Since 2021, Paola has played a solitary role as a correspondent for GloboNews in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, acting both as a reporter and as a cameraman, without having another support professional to hold the camera.
Paola de Orte’s professional career began with obtaining a degree in Social Communication – Journalism from the Federal University of Paraná, in 2008, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Brasília, which she completed in 2016.
During her stay in the Brazilian federal capital, the journalist contributed to Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), working as a reporter for TV Brasil. She was sent to Washington, where she covered events at the White House, traveled to New York to report on events at the United Nations General Assembly and accompanied then-president Jair Bolsonaro’s visits to the United States.
After dedicating herself to covering the USA for around two years, Paola de Orte made the decision to move to the Middle East in March 2021. In this new role, she began to act as a correspondent for the Globo group, contributing articles to the newspaper O Globo and reporting for GloboNews.
On social media, more specifically on her Instagram profile, where she has 6,000 followers, Paola shares both her reports and leisure moments and her recent trips to Turkey and France.
