Hurun India Wealth Report 2020 has revealed that there are 4.12 lakh millionaires families in India, whose net worth is at least 7 crores. In this report released on Tuesday, it has been told that the maximum number of millionaire families are in Mumbai, followed by Delhi.
According to the report, 70.3 percent of the country’s millionaire families are in the top 10 states. Maharashtra (56000) topped the list with the highest number of millionaires, followed by Uttar Pradesh (36000), Tamil Nadu (35000), Karnataka (33000) and then Gujarat (29000).
There are 16933 millionaire families in Mumbai, who contribute about 6.16 percent of the country’s GDP. At the same time, there are 16000 millionaire families in Delhi, who have a contribution of 4.94 percent in the GDP of the country. It is followed by Kolkata, where there are 10,000 millionaire families. Kolkata is followed by Bengaluru (7582) and then Chennai (4685) in the list.

Hurun has emerged from the second edition of the Indian Luxury Consumer Survey that Indian millionaires mostly like Mercedes in the luxury car brand, followed by BMW and Jaguar.
Talking about luxury sports cars, Lamborghini is the most liked in this case, followed by Porsche and Aston Martin.
Among the most favorite watches, Rolex is at the top, Tanishq is at the top among the jewelery brands in terms of choice, while Taj is at the top in the hospitality brand.
