The Indian cricket team’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been entrusted with a big responsibility by the Uttarakhand government. Pant is currently busy preparing for the Test match in South Africa. The 24-year-old Pant has been announced as the brand ambassador by the state government.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave this information through his official Twitter handle. During this, the CM also talked to Pant on a video call. Dhami uploaded the video and wrote, ‘One of the best cricket players of India, the idol of youth and Lal Sri Rishabh Pant of Uttarakhand, our government has given the aim of encouraging the youth of the state towards sports and public health. Appointed ‘State Brand Ambassador’.

The first test will be played from December 26
The Indian team will play a 3-match test series on the South African tour. The first Test of the series will be played at Centurion from December 26. Pant has also expressed happiness over being made the brand ambassador.
