Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on January 3 announced an asset declaration according to regulations of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). AFP cited records published by the media showing that Ms. Paetongtarn owns assets worth 13.8 billion baht (10,195 billion VND, about 400 million USD). Of which, Ms. Paetongtarn’s investments are worth 11 billion baht and billions of other baht are savings and cash.

Ms. Paetongtarn is the daughter of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. She took office in August 2024.
