Warning to Oommen Chandy and Chennithala; Satheesan said that Sudhakaran had the last word and Tariq Anwar supported him

Kannur: The state leadership is targeting the senior leaders who started the controversy regarding the appointment of the DCC president. The state leadership came out again, dismissing the allegations of Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala that there was no discussion on the appointment of the DCC president. With the support of AICC General Secretary Tariq Anwar for the state leadership led by KPCC President K Sudhakaran, the A and I groups became completely defensive. The state leadership reacted harshly to the controversy.

Leader of the Opposition in support of Sudhakaran

Opposition leader VD Satheesan said that KPCC president K Sudhakaran will be the last word of the Congress in the organizational work in Kerala. Everyone must stand together in the effort to make the Congress a semi-cadre party. All Congress workers are obliged to follow the instructions of the KPCC President. There may be differences of opinion and problems. But he said he would fix them all and move on. The opposition leader has tightened his grip on the appointment of the DCC president amid continuing controversy.

KC Venugopal says Sudhakaran has all freedom

KC Venugopal said that K Sudhakaran has the strength to overcome the weaknesses of the Congress in Kerala. “K Sudhakaran will be given all the freedom and support. The Congress is a party that is free to speak openly to all. It has no hesitation in listening to the difficulties. Leadership is the main concern “- KC Venugopal clarified.

There are no problems of any kind in Congress

Venugopal, who is also the general secretary in charge of Congress organization, said there was no time limit in the Congress for the appointment of the DCC president. Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala are the mainstay of the Congress party. In Kerala, there is no sin in the Congress as the CPM and the BJP are mounting. The current issues will be resolved and move forward. He also openly said that the Congress did not have the CPM style of eliminating those who express any kind of opinion and those who stand with it.

Supported by Tariq Anwar

AICC General Secretary in charge of Kerala Tariq Anwar has expressed support for the state Congress leadership. “Sudhakaran has been given complete independence as KPCC president. Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala have not approached anyone to make him the DCC president. The KPCC will consider communal equations, including reorganization. The Congress in Kerala has not filed a complaint against him to the High Command, despite differences of opinion,” he said.

Sudhakaran softened his stance

KPCC President K Sudhakaran said that he will hold discussions with Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala to resolve the current issues. “No issue with the two leaders will be resolved without delay. Negotiations will be held with the support of the High Command. Problems will prevail. There is a formula for everything. There will be no doubt that all issues will be resolved. The new planning agenda of the state leadership will create a new history in the political arena of Kerala. We cannot stay away from the move. Even those who want to do so will not change. Leaders have the capacity to persuade them. Problems with AV Gopinath will also be resolved, ”Sudhakaran said.
