Vivekananda Rock Memorial: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for his decisions. During his last two tenures, most of the decisions taken by the PM have been shocking for the people. PM Modi will meditate on Vivekananda rock for 48 hours
PM Modi is in the election fray to score a hat-trick from Varanasi. He is also very busy in election rallies for the last phase of voting. The campaigning for the last phase will end on May 30 in the polling areas and a day later, on Saturday, June 1, voting will be held for 57 seats in the Union Territory of Chandigarh and 7 states. On the day the election campaigning for the last phase of voting ends, Prime Minister Modi will visit the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial i.e. Vivekananda Shila in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Quoting a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), news agency PTI-Bhasha said on Tuesday that PM Modi will be immersed in meditation day and night on Vivekananda Shila from the evening of May 30 to the evening of June 1. After the last Lok Sabha election campaign, Prime Minister Modi had meditated in a similar way in the cave of Kedarnath.

Vivekananda meditated on this famous rock
The BJP leader said that PM Modi will be in a meditative state at the Dhyan Mandapam located at Vivekananda Shila. Vivekananda Shila is believed to be the place where Vivekananda received a divine vision about ‘Bharat Mata’. Party officials said that Prime Minister Modi chose Kanyakumari for his spiritual stay because he wants to realize Vivekananda’s vision in the country. He is confident that he will return to power for the third time after the counting of votes on June 4.
A BJP leader said, “Meditating at the same place shows Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to bring Swamiji’s vision of a developed India to life.” He said the place is also known in sacred texts as the meditation place of Goddess Parvati for Lord Shiva. This place is the southernmost tip of India. The BJP leader said it is the place where the eastern and western coastlines meet and the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea meet. A leader said, “Prime Minister Modi is giving a sign of national unity by visiting Kanyakumari.” He said it also shows his deep commitment and affection towards Tamil Nadu that he is visiting the state even after the elections are over.
The last phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections is to be held on June 1. The election campaign ends two days before the voting. BJP officials said that the place where the Prime Minister will meditate had a great influence on Vivekananda’s life and it has the same importance in the life of the monk as Sarnath has for Gautam Buddha. They said that Vivekananda had reached here after roaming all over the country. He meditated here for three days and dreamt of a developed India.
