Ashleigh Watts is facing charges of indecency with a minor after allegedly having sexual contact with one of the teenage twins since June 2022.
The allegations came to light after a neighbor contacted emergency services and reported that Watts had had sex with the twin brothers.
The neighbor’s alert led authorities to dig deeper into the matter and ensure the safety of the teens involved, 13 News Now reports.
According to the complaint cited by the media, a particularly alarming incident occurred in February when Watts’ husband found her topless on the couch with one of their teenage sons.
The teenager, who lived across the street, allegedly claimed to have visited the Watts residence to smoke marijuana and then fell asleep. Authorities indicate that he denied any sexual activity. However, subsequent events have revealed contradictory statements and serious allegations.
According to reports, the teenager in question told his father that he had had sexual encounters with Watts on multiple occasions. Additionally, he allegedly revealed to another neighbor that he and Watts had been in a sexual relationship since June 2022 and claimed they were in love.
Later, the teenager allegedly stated that Watts had expressed intentions to marry him once he turned 17; Authorities discovered the youth had run away from home, seeking refuge in Watts’ bedroom weeks after the alleged contact.
And if that was not enough, the accusations were also extended to the other twin. According to the complaint, she claimed Watts had provided her with her underwear and offered her marijuana.
Besides, the second youth alleged inappropriate physical contact by Wattsdespite his objections.
According to 13 News Now, Ashleigh Watts was arrested on August 17; It is not immediately clear if Watts obtained legal representation or pleaded guilty.
