Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi were traveling in their Lamborghini car when their luxury car collided with a Ferrari and a camper vehicle.
The collision, which occurred on a rural road in Sardinia, resulted in overturning of vehicles and multiple vehicles colliding with each other. According to media reports, the Ferrari car caught fire, killing its occupants, 63-year-old Melissa Crotley and 67-year-old Marcus Crotley. The Crottli couple were originally residents of Switzerland.
Born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Gayatri Joshi started her career as a video jockey, and then started working hard with the aim of winning the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. In the year 2000, Gayatri won the Femina Miss India International title and represented India in the Miss International 2000 pageant.
