Actress Gayatri Joshi, who was seen in the film ‘Swades’ with Bollywood’s ‘Badshah’ actor Shahrukh Khan, and her husband Vikas Oberoi’s car met with an accident while traveling in Italy.

Gayatri and her husband Vikas were holidaying in Sardina at the time of the accident. It is reported that Gayatri and Vikas’s car collided with several cars and a camper vehicle. According to Vikas Oberoi’s manager, the husband and wife are safe.
The accident happened during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, a luxury car parade from Teulada to Olbia.

Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi were traveling in their Lamborghini car when their luxury car collided with a Ferrari and a camper vehicle.
The collision, which occurred on a rural road in Sardinia, resulted in overturning of vehicles and multiple vehicles colliding with each other. According to media reports, the Ferrari car caught fire, killing its occupants, 63-year-old Melissa Crotley and 67-year-old Marcus Crotley. The Crottli couple were originally residents of Switzerland.
Born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Gayatri Joshi started her career as a video jockey, and then started working hard with the aim of winning the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. In the year 2000, Gayatri won the Femina Miss India International title and represented India in the Miss International 2000 pageant. Gayatri then acted in the 2004 film ‘Swades’, directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, which was the story of an NRI NASA engineer who returns to India to test his connection with India. The film was highly praised, and Gayatri Joshi was also praised for her ‘mature’ acting.
Gayatri Joshi married businessman Vikas Oberoi in 2005. Gayatri Joshi has also worked as an advertising model and has appeared in several music videos, including Hansraj Hans’s ‘Jhanjhariya’ and Jagjit Singh’s ‘Kagaz Ki Kashti’.
