Varanasi lit up with lights during Dev Diwali, ghats decorated with lakhs of lamps, see photos
India celebrated the holy festival of Dev Diwali on Friday. Like every year, this year too a grand ceremony was organized in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. People from all parts of the country flock to the city to participate in this popular festival.
In the evening, all the ghats of Varanasi were illuminated with millions of lamps and lights. A special fireworks display was also organized on the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend warm wishes for the festival and also shared some breathtaking pictures from the grand event in Varanasi.
