Upcoming Car: From Tata Curve Fuel Version to MG Windsor Electric Car, List of Cars Coming in September

Upcoming new car launches in September 2024:This month, new vehicles were introduced in the Indian car market by vehicle manufacturing companies like Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Nissan, Auto. During this time, some companies added new variants to their existing models. At the same time, some launched their existing vehicles in new editions. Like August, new vehicles are to be launched by car manufacturing companies in the month of September. The festive season is also starting in September. In view of this, vehicle manufacturing companies are also preparing to capitalize on the upcoming festive season with the launch of new cars. Tata Curvv ICE

The first name in this list of cars coming in September is Tata Motors Curve. India’s leading car manufacturing company Tata Motors launched the Curve electric car on 7 August 2024. During this, the company unveiled the fuel version of Tata Curve. On September 2, Tata Motors will launch the fuel version of Curve in the Indian market.

Equipped with an internal combustion engine i.e. ICE engine, Tata Curve will be offered in both petrol and diesel options. The new coupe SUV will be made available in the market in two turbocharged petrol engine options – 1.2-liter and 1.2-liter TGDi Turbo. Apart from this, this car will also be offered with a 1.5-liter diesel engine. For transmission, 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic options will be paired with the fuel engine. Notably, the pairing of DCT with a diesel engine is a first for a mass-market vehicle in India.

Hyundai Alcazar

The next launch in this list of cars to be launched in September is to be made by Hyundai. South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai will launch the facelifted Alcazar on September 9. This three-two row SUV may see many updates like Creta.

The cabin will be completely redesigned and will have two 10.25-inch screens and new seats, the 6-seater version will have ventilated seats for both the first and second rows. The 2024 Alcazar will get Level 2 ADAS. Talking about engine options, the Alcazar will come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former will get a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch and the latter can get a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

MG Windsor EV

JSW MG is all set to launch its third electric car. The new car is likely to fit between the Comet EV and the ZS EV. This crossover will get a glass roof, automatic LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles, electric tailgate and disc brakes on all wheels. The interior of the upcoming car will feature a 15.6-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat and 4-way adjustable powered front passenger seat.

Apart from this, it will have a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a rear bench with features like a sofa with 135 degree recline at the rear. The MG Windsor electric car will be powered by a 50.3 kWh capacity battery. It is expected that this car will be able to give a range of 460 km on a full charge. The car will have a single motor installed on the front axle. This motor generates 134 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV

Apart from this, Mercedes-Benz will launch its premier electric car Mercedes Maybach EQS SUV. A year ago, the company unveiled this electric car in the Chinese market. The new EV of Mercedes-Benz coming to the Indian market will be the top of the line 680 version. The new car will have a double motor.

These motors (108.4 kWh) will be installed on both axles in the new car. These motors are said to be capable of generating 658 bhp power and 950 Nm torque. The company claims that the EQS SUV will run about 600 km on a single full charge. The special thing about the car is that it has two 11.6-inch displays on the rear passenger seat and an MBUX tablet for control. Mercedes Maybach EQS SUV can be launched in the Indian market on 5 September.
