The US presidential election is being decided in seven key states. Polls indicate that 226 Electoral College votes are almost assured for Kamala Harris and 219 for Donald Trump, but 270 are needed to be elected president. The seven States that are in the air elect 93 delegates who will tip the balance. Of them, the most important is Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes), followed by Georgia and North Carolina (16 each), Michigan (15), Arizona (11), Wisconsin (10) and Nevada (6). There are multiple combinations to reach 270. This interactive map allows you to simulate different scenarios.
* Between 2020 and 2024, the electoral map of the United States (that is, the number of delegates elected in each state or electoral district) has undergone changes. California, for example, goes from 55 delegates in 2020 to 54 in the 2024 presidential elections.
Thus, in the ‘2020 RESULTS’ option represented here, the states that Democrats and Republicans won in 2020 are shown, by default, but the sum of electoral votes for each one is carried out with the new assignment of delegates that each state will have. and electoral district in 2024.
