There has been a big action on Khalsa TV for violent broadcasts in Britain. Khalsa TV has been fined £5,000 for broadcasting content which incites Sikhs to violence. Ofcom, which monitors media activities in Britain, has fined Khalsa TV £5,000.
Khalsa TV has been found guilty of broadcasting a music video and justifying the violence of Sikh separatists through it. Not only this, such programs have also been broadcast on Khalsa TV in which violence against those who criticize Sikhism has been encouraged.
In 2018, a music video with the title “Bagga-Shera” was broadcast on Khalsa TV. Ofcom said that in the video, Sikhs have been encouraged to take violent action. Khalsa TV has a license to broadcast programs in the UK on issues related to the Sikh community.
Ofcom also said that the violence of banned terrorist organizations like Babbar Khalsa has also been glorified through these violent videos.
