Turkish wrestlers won two bronze medals at the U-23 World Cup


Turkish wrestler Kerem Kemal won a bronze medal in the under 60 kg weight category at the U-23 World Championship in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade.

In the match for the third place, the representative of Turkey defeated the Ukrainian Igor Kurochkin with a score of 6: 5.

In the first round, Kemal defeated the Italian Tomaso Bossi, and in the quarterfinals he was stronger than Tigran Minasyan from Armenia. In the semifinal match, the Turkish wrestler lost to the Russian Anvar Allakhyarov.

The second “bronze” of Turkey was brought by Kadir Kemal, performing in the weight category up to 67 kg.

In the match for the bronze medal, he defeated Kazakhstani Sultan Asetuly with a score of 5: 1.

In the quarterfinals, Kadir Kemal defeated Finn Elmer Otto Mattila, in the semifinals he lost to the wrestler from Azerbaijan Hasret Jafarov.
