The stands of Turkish universities were highly appreciated at the International Education Fair in Kazakhstan.
The international education fair is held in the cities of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent in Kazakhstan.
About 60 universities from more than 30 countries are taking part in this year’s fair, which aims to create opportunities for young people wishing to study abroad.
Leading public and private universities in Turkey are also represented at the fair, which is traditionally organized annually by the Bolashak Development Foundation.
The stands of Turkish universities attract the attention of young people.
Director General of the Office of International Relations and Academic Cooperation of Marmara University, Professor Nuri Tynaz, representing the university’s stand at the fair, told AA that the university attaches great importance to this geography.
Tynaz noted that not only young people, but also their parents participate in the fair: “I was most impressed by the parents. Because they are very worried about the future of their children.”
He drew attention to the importance of sending students to Turkey within the framework of the Bolashak State Scholarship program and emphasized the need to revive the Farabi student exchange program.
According to him, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) “Turkey Scholarships” program will also be presented at the fair.
