Armenia should take advantage of this opportunity to establish peace, fully comply with the ceasefire and cooperate.
This is stated in a statement following a meeting of the Turkish National Security Council, which was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Armenia needs to appreciate the hand of peace extended to it as a chance, to fully comply with the ceasefire and show commitment to cooperation,” the communiqué reads, in particular.
According to the statement, during the meeting, the Turkish Security Council considered the challenges and threats that the country faced and may face in the future in the process of implementing its economic policy in accordance with its goals.
It was noted that Ankara is in favor of resolving differences between Turkey’s northern neighbors within the framework of international law and respect for their territorial integrity.
Turkey’s NSS called on to avoid unilateral steps so that the elections in Libya will be held in an atmosphere of law and peace.
The declaration also calls on the international community to resist forces trying to abuse the Libyan electoral process to their advantage.
