Turkey will be represented by 30 athletes at the World Junior Championships in freestyle, women’s and Greco-Roman wrestling in Ufa.
The Turkish Wrestling Federation reported that the Turkish delegation has already departed for Russia.
From August 16 to 22, participants will identify the strongest in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, and competitions will also be held among juniors.
In freestyle Turkey will be represented by: Muhammad Karavush (57 kg), Hamza Zopaly (61 kg), Burak Sirin (65 kg), Mevlut Ozdemir (70 kg), Taner Garip (74 kg), Ismail Kuchuksolak (79 kg), Emre Chiftchi (86 kg), Muhammezh Gimri (92 kg), Polat Polatchy (97 kg), Efe Anir Al (125 kg).
The competition among juniors will be attended by: Zehra Demirkhan (50 kg), Emine Cakmak (53 kg), Melda Dernekchi (55 kg), Elvira Kamaoglu (57 kg), Ebru Dagbashi (59 kg), Yagmur Chakmak (62 kg), Seda Bashgel (65 kg), Nesrin Bash (68 kg), Nazar Batyr (72 kg) and Melik Charitach (76 kg).
Finally, in the Greco-Roman style under the flag of Turkey will perform: Adem Burak Uzun (55 kg), Mert Ilbars (60 kg), Ismail Orujoglu (63 kg), Serhat Kyryk (67 kg), Omer Jan Dogan (72 kg), Yuksek Sarychichek (77 kg), Samet Yaldyran (82 kg), Tansel Jan Ortuju (87 kg), Mustafa Olgun (97 kg) and Muhammad Hamza Bakir (130 kg).
More than 1,500 wrestlers, coaches, judges and officials from 55 countries of the world will arrive at the tournament in Bashkortostan.
