The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the government and people of Iraq in connection with the death and injury of dozens of people as a result of the terrorist attack in Baghdad.
The ministry noted that they regret the reports of the death and injury of people as a result of a terrorist attack in the area of the Iraqi capital Madinat Sadr.
“Ankara strongly condemns the insidious terrorist attack aimed at undermining peace and stability in Iraq,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Turkey is ready to provide Iraq with all possible assistance in the fight against terrorism, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stressed.
The day before, an explosion occurred at the Al-Wahilat market in the Madinat Sadr region in eastern Baghdad. According to the Baghdad Health Department, according to preliminary data, 30 people were killed, another 60 were injured.
