Turkey does not discriminate between African countries

Turkey supports African countries without differentiating between them.

This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the National Assembly (Parliament) of Angola.

According to the Turkish leader, Ankara does not recognize the Orientalist approach to the African continent dictated by the West.

“There are circles that still cannot come to terms with the independence, freedom and equality of African peoples. Recently, we are again witnessing this kind of rejection, ”stated the head of the Turkish state.

President Erdogan pointed to the “injustice of the existing global system”, reiterating the thesis “the world is more than five” put forward earlier by Ankara. “The fate of humanity should not be left to the mercy of a handful of countries that won World War II,” he said.

“While the world and almost all aspects of our lives are changing, and diplomacy, trade and international relations are undergoing radical transformations, we cannot believe that the global security architecture will remain the same,” President Erdogan added.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Angola as part of a four-day tour of African countries. Following Angola, the Turkish President will hold talks in Togo and Nigeria.
