Turkey has administered more than 115.25 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine since it launched its vaccination campaign in January, according to official data released on Sunday.
More than 55.16 million people have received a first dose of the vaccine and more than 48.1 million are fully vaccinated, the health ministry said.
Turkey also administered a third booster dose to more than 10.96 million people.
The ministry recorded 24,792 new infections, 195 deaths and 24,403 healings during the past day.
No fewer than 228,536 new tests for the virus have been performed in the past 24 hours, according to the same data.
Since December 2019, the pandemic has killed more than 4.94 million people in at least 192 countries and regions around the world, with more than 243.5 million cases reported worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.
