Security forces arrested six people during operations against the terrorist organizations PKK and FETO in Gaziantep, southeastern Turkey.
According to an official statement shared on Monday, 23 suspects had been arrested and taken into custody during operations carried out between October 25 and 31, as part of the fight against terrorism.
Among them, six people, including five belonging to the terrorist organization FETO and one to the terrorist organization PKK, were arrested, said the same source.
The terrorist organization FETO is responsible for the coup attempt of July 15, 2016 in Turkey. Since then, the Turkish state has actively fought judicially against those responsible for the failed coup.
The terrorist organization PKK, which has waged a terrorist campaign against Turkey for more than thirty years, is responsible for the deaths of around 40,000 people, including a large number of women, children and infants. The PKK is classified as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
