The head of the Tunisian government, Najla Bouden, is going to Algeria on Thursday as part of a fraternity and working visit, at the request of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed.
This is what emerges from a press release made public on the official Facebook page of the Presidency of the Government and consulted by the Anadolu Agency (AA).
Accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Othmen Jerandi, Bouden is making her very first bilateral working visit since taking office.
This visit affirms the solidity of Tunisian-Algerian relations and reflects the will of the leaders of the two countries to raise these links to a level of lasting strategic partnership, which meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. It also strengthens the means to support bilateral cooperation, the statement said.
The two parties will have to prepare for the meeting of the Tunisian-Algerian High Joint Committee, which will take place soon, as well as for the rest of the joint bilateral sectoral committees, the same source reads.
