The director general of military health affirmed that the health authorities of the country intend to organize other national days of vaccination against the coronavirus, bringing forward the date of August 29, 2021 which will be devoted to people who did not show up for the appointments. Sunday.

“We will continue to operate in the same way in order to avoid clutter and mess,” he added.

The Ministry of Health also announced that as of August 14, 2021, 1,748 new contaminations were recorded in Tunisia, out of 8,808 tests carried out, thus establishing the percentage of positive tests at 19.85% and bringing the results contamination in 625,688 cases.

According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, 24 new deaths were recorded on August 14, bringing the toll of victims of the virus in Tunisia to 21,905 dead, while the toll of cures shows 5,465 new cases of remission , which brings the total toll since the appearance of the virus to 569,736 recoveries.
