The Tunisian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that as of July 7, 2021, 8,315 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded across the country, bringing the toll of contaminations in Tunisia to 473,229 cases. confirmed.

126 new deaths linked to the virus were recorded as of July 7, which brings the death toll of Covid-19 in the country to 15,861 deaths, while the people cured on the same date numbered 2,771, bringing the total to 375,756 healings.

According to the bulletin released on Thursday, 23,952 new screening tests were carried out as of July 7, bringing to 1,871,273 the number of laboratory tests and analyzes carried out since the appearance of the virus in the country in February 2020.

The ministry’s bulletin specifies that 4,087 people with Covid-19 are currently treated in hospitals, of which 630 are treated in intensive care units, while 159 patients are on respiratory assistance.

As of Thursday evening, 186,171,484 people around the world were affected by Covid-19, of which 4,022,272 have succumbed to the disease, while 170,308,328 have recovered, according to data compiled by the statistics site Worldometers .
