Donald Trump continues with his battery of appointments without complexes. After appointing Pete Hegseth, a Fox network presenter, to head the Pentagon, Tulsi Gabbard, an admirer of Vladimir Putin, to the intelligence services and Matt Gaetz, investigated for accusations of sexual, drug use and appropriation of funds, for attorney general, the president-elect has decided to nominate anti-vaccine Robert F. Kennedy as secretary of the Department of Health.
Kennedy began his career in the presidential elections as a Democratic candidate in the primaries. When he saw that he had no options against Joe Biden, he started his candidacy independently and ended up withdrawing it and giving his support to Donald Trump last August. He attended the Republican national convention as a guest, held in July in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), and on the eve of the presidential elections he announced on social media that he had received Trump’s invitation to be “responsible for Health.” Elon Musk, co-responsible with Vivek Ramaswamy for a new department that will streamline the Government, had also alluded on his social network X to Kennedy’s future role in doing “something wild” in health. Shares of Moderna and Novovax, two of the main manufacturers of coronavirus vaccines, have fallen after the appointment was announced.

Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States (HHS),” he wrote on his social network, Truth. “For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and pharmaceutical companies that have engaged in deception, misinformation and misinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a large role in helping ensure that everyone will be protected from the harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country.
