Trump alleges that Biden’s policies have given the Taliban an opportunity to take control of Afghanistan. Trump alleges that Biden has surrendered to the Taliban. The previous administration under Trump had signed an agreement with the Taliban for a complete withdrawal from Afghanistan in February 2020. Peace talks with the Afghan government were insisted upon. But as soon as there was a change in American leadership, without any conclusion the foreign troops began to finalize their withdrawal. Taliban fighters then launched an offensive against Afghan forces and ousted Ashraf Ghani’s government.
