There were only eight episodes that were released at the time, but they were all so good that they made clear the imagination of their creators and their passion for the mythology of ancient Greece that more than one was left wanting new stories. These will be back this next year with the premiere of the second season of Blood of Zeus, which released its first trailer this weekend.
Blood of Zeus narrates a story of war between humans, gods and demons starring Heron, a young man who as the chapters go by will discover that he is the son of the god of sky and thunder himself. He will be entrusted with the mission of saving the world from a demonic army, but these terrifying creatures will not be the only obstacles our hero faces.
Without going into spoilers, since this topic also wants to be about discovery, we can say that the second season of Blood of Zeus will pick up things where they ended at the end of its first chapters. These can be seen for three years through Netflix, while the new batch of episodes will not be ready for premiere until mid-2024, this coming May 15th.
From the same Castlevania animation studio
Blood of Zeus (Blood of Zeus in the original version) has an animation quite similar to that of other hits on the platform such as Castlevania. In fact, Powerhouse Animation Studioswho worked on the adaptation of the Konami classic, is the one who develops this fiction, as well as others from Netflix such as Master of the Universe: Revelation, which also recently presented new features.
