The 21-year-old Spaniard beat the French veteran (38) thanks to a very serious performance, along the lines he is offering these days on the Asian tour. He decided each set with a break and progressed to the next station, where he will face the winner of the arm wrestling match currently being fought on Thursday by Tommy Paul and Tomas Machac. The tennis player from El Palmar, world number two, was recently proclaimed champion in Beijing and has 12 consecutive wins since falling in the second round of the US Open.
