Australian YouTuber Brodie Moss was paddle boarding when he saw a sea snake swimming by. The video, which he shared on Instagram two days ago, shows the snake unusually chasing it. Because while chasing the snake had reached the paddle board. While sea snakes generally avoid humans, Moss pointed out, they become “sexually depressed and potentially aggressive” at this time of year.
Sharing the video which is quite scary, he wrote, “Sea snakes generally avoid humans but at this time of year they become very active, sexually frustrated and potentially aggressive as they search for a mate. Huh.”
The YouTuber said that in his video the snake appeared from the ocean floor and followed him before disappearing. The footage shows the snake keeping its head on the paddle board for a few moments before turning around and swimming.
The video has garnered nearly a million views on Instagram since it was shared two days ago. This video is going viral very fast.

Sea snakes, also known as coral reef snakes, are snakes that live in water most or all of the time. Most of the sea snakes found so far are extremely venomous.
