The public, workers and employers will meet at the ‘Davos of working life’


Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK)will organize the third Joint Sharing Forum, which brings together the representatives of the public, workers and employers, on 14-15 October this year.

According to the written statement made by TİSK, the Joint Sharing Forum, which is described as the “Davos of working life” with national and international participation, will be held this year with the slogan “Together Possible Turkey” and the main theme of “The Future of Our Business”.

The opening session of the program, in which the topics of “Youth in the Future of Our Business”, “Women in the Future of Our Business” and “Overview of Registered Employment” will be discussed, will be attended by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Bilgin, President of Türk-İş Ergün Atalay and Hak-İş President Mahmut Arslan.

High level participation from ILO, IOE and ITUC

International Labor Organization (ILO) Director General Guy Ryder, International Organization of Employers (IOE) Secretary General Roberto Suarez Santos, IOE Honorary President Erol Kiresepi, International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) Secretary General. In addition to Sharan Burrow, representatives from organizations such as the United Nations and Business Europe will also attend.

In the sessions, international cooperation and the transformation of working life will be discussed.

“Zero harm to nature” is aimed

The Joint Sharing Forum will be held this year at the MESS Technology Center (MEXT) with limited physical participation as part of the Covid-19 epidemic measures.

Participants will also be able to follow the entire program online.

The forum also aims to “do zero harm to nature”.

For this purpose, activities and consumption items that can produce carbon emissions will be determined within the scope of the event.

In line with the determinations, the event will be given a “carbon neutral” feature by contributing to international standards projects with carbon credits.
