The price of Brent crude oil on international markets on Monday amounted to $ 85.73 per barrel.
At the last auction on Friday, the price of a barrel of this brand reached $ 85.10, but closed the day at $ 84.86.
As of 09.03 am on October 18, the price of Brent crude rose 1.02 percent to $ 85.73 per barrel.
WTI crude oil futures cost $ 82.80 per barrel.
The price of oil surpassed the $ 85 threshold for the first time on Friday, October 15 and continues to rise as the global economic recovery after the pandemic boosted oil demand and power producers switched to fuel oil and diesel on rising natural gas and coal prices.
Experts believe that the price of jet fuel will increase amid the US decision from November 8 to open borders to fully vaccinated tourists from a number, as well as reports of plans by Australia and Asian countries to take similar measures from next month.
This situation also contributes to the rise in oil prices.
